Lock Jaw Ladder Grip: Bridging Safety and Innovation on a Global Scale

We’re incredibly excited to share that Lock Jaw Ladder Grip has just received a prestigious award from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) 2024 Export Awards for outstanding international success in selling our safety tools to customers overseas via e-commerce. As an Australian company, this recognition means the world to us!

For those who may not know, Lock Jaw Ladder Grip was invented by Craig Charlton and his father, Robert. Their goal was simple but vital: to create a product that helps prevent injuries and fatalities from ladder-related accidents. What started as an idea between father and son has now grown into something bigger than we could’ve ever imagined.

Today, our safety tool is used not only here in Australia but also across the USA and Europe through our partners: Distributors, Amazon, Bunnings, Lowes, and Home Depot. It’s trusted by plumbers, roofers, inspectors, electricians, NBN workers, emergency services, power companies, builders, and maintenance teams to keep them safe on the job. Seeing our product making a difference in so many industries worldwide is something we’re incredibly proud of.

The CEO of TIQ, Justin McGowan GAICD, visited Gail and Craig before the awarding to share the congratulatory message about the nominations [Small Business and e-Commerce categories, while Gail has also received a Women in International Business nomination]. They met at the Help Enterprises warehouse, a social enterprise that employs people with disabilities. The recognition further solidifies Lock Jaw Ladder Grip’s position as a leader in the safety tools industry, driven by its mission to enhance workplace safety on a global scale.

This award adds to a growing list of honors we’ve received over the years, and while the recognition is fantastic, what really matters to us is the impact our product is making. We’re passionate about keeping workers safe, and knowing that Lock Jaw Ladder Grip is helping prevent accidents every day is what keeps us going.
